It all began in a small farming industry in the Limpopo Province of South Africa, where the small red pepper was discovered. The classic pickling recipe was created and established there and has been grown and cultivated in the Limpopo Province ever since. The PEPPADEW® Brand entered the South African market in the early 2000’s and then exploded, internationally, a little while later after recreating the PEPPADEW® brand and attending many international food shows. What started out as a brand existing in a small farming industry now exists on shelves all over the world and is known as PEPPADEW® -the creators of pickled piquanté peppers and more.
The smallest wonders are the ones we marvel over the most, for they have the power to have the largest impact on our lives.

We employ a veritable workforce in the Tzaneen factory, which hand sorts and ensures the most rigorous quality control is adhered to. With an export footprint of 24 countries, only the best ripe raw peppers are selected to make sure our product is loved and enjoyed in the furthest corners of the globe.
